Breakout Sessions

The Health Summit will include breakout sessions on the following topics: Health, Safety, and Risky Behavior. Please select one of these topics on the online registration page using the following descriptions as a guide:

Health (Physical Activity): Reduce incidence of high blood pressure and associated risk factors (obesity and physical inactivity). Create an action plan to increase physical activity.

Safety (Fall Prevention): Reduce falls among elderly and associated risk factors (balance, medications, inactivity/immobility. Create an action plan to improve elders understanding of risks and ability to self-manage risks associated with falls

Risk Behavior (Substance Use/Behavioral Health): Promote self management of a) substance use disorder, b) behavioral health disorders leading to suicidal ideation; and c) homelessness. Create an action plan to support those involved both primarily and secondarily, educate all regarding risk factors, and self management techniques, and improve understanding of substance use disorder and behavioral health.
